Leg One of the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race on a Clipper 70 competing amongst 11 identical boats. Leg One is The Atlantic Trade Winds Leg. The route departs the UK and sails to Spain for one week, makes a several day in port visit, and then non-stop sailing for one month from Spain down the west coast of Africa past the Canary Islands, Cape Verde, across the equator, down the east coast of Brazil and making landfall in Uruguay.
