Timothy Caulfield's Endorsement

On June 25th, 2020, after the final decision was released, I wrote a personal note to thank Timothy Caulfield for being Judge of the Kobo Emerging Writer Nonfiction Prize and to tell him that, as a fan of his work, I was delighted to know that he had read my story. He sent back this generous and thoughtful endorsement for The Stone Frigate and gave me permission to share it. This moment was the icing on the cake of the already incredible experience of being chosen as a Finalist for the Kobo Prize.
